Effect of Panax Ginseng on Digitalis Action in Frogs

Abstract

|
Panax ginseng was examined to have any effect on digitalis action in frog hearts. Using the one hour frog method, death rates of frog by strophanthin were calculated. The pretreatment with ginseng extract(0.5 or 1mg/10g) had not any effect on LD 5 0 of strophanthin in frogs.
